A friend asked me to make a tiara for her daughter's First Communion. I've never done one for that purpose before, but my friend told me exactly what she was after and we worked from there. I was a bit worried as my friend doesn't live close so I couldn't try it on her daughter for size/shape, but I think they were happy with it!

I think the phrase you were looking for was "bloody-bowled-over-and-totally-in-love-with-it".
I couldn't have imagined anything more perfect or more beautiful. I know I'm biased, but it was by far the most stunning headpiece in the whole church, LOL. None of that shop-bought uninspiring diamante headband tat!
I would make her wear it every day, if I could. And the beauty of it was that it was almost *exactly* how I wanted it. And the only reason it wasn't *exactly* how I wanted it, was because your suggestions were better!!!
Hehehe, thanks Duve! Glad it had the desired effect! I would let her wear it every day! I have my wedding tiara on the shelf by the front door and can often be seen doing the housework with it on!
Thanks again xxxx
